Our Story
Diamond Dynamics was born from creativity, determination, and a willingness to pivot.
What started as a machine designed to cut large wood logs for live-edge products eventually evolved into something far more distinctive. When the wood market became saturated, we asked ourselves how we could use our skills, equipment, and resources to enter a space where innovation would set us apart.
The answer was rock.
With access to large quantities of stone — including oversized boulders often considered waste material in aggregate pits — we saw an opportunity. These rocks weren’t suitable for traditional aggregate use, but they held untapped beauty and potential. Instead of letting them go to waste, we envisioned giving them a second life.
So we rebuilt and re-engineered our system into a custom CNC machine with two working axes, designed specifically to cut and shape rock with precision and flexibility. This powerful transformation allowed us to produce an incredible range of custom stone products that are both functional and artistic.
Built From the Ground Up
Our team consists of three dedicated individuals: myself, my brother, and our employee, Jerry. Together, we built this operation entirely from the ground up. From pouring the concrete foundation to framing, electrical, plumbing, engineering, fabrication, machining, software development, hardware assembly, and CNC calibration — everything you see was designed and constructed in-house.
We didn’t rely on off-the-shelf solutions. Instead, we engineered our own systems to meet our exact needs. We even utilized 3D printing technology to produce many of our machine components, saving time while maintaining precision and efficiency. There are very few pre-manufactured parts in our CNC unit — it is a testament to our hands-on expertise and commitment to innovation.
This level of involvement means we understand every bolt, circuit, and calibration setting of our equipment. That understanding translates directly into the quality, durability, and uniqueness of the stone products we produce.
